Umurangi Generation 2XLP

In collaboration with developer Veselekov, composer ThorHighHeels, and artist YRN, Stumpy Frog Records has pressed the soundtrack to the IGF Grand Prize-winning game Umurangi Generation to deluxe 2LP vinyl.

This world is ending, and you’ve got the pictures to prove it. Filling the boots of a courier for the Tauranga Express, you’ll be taking photographs of a highly stylised world and the people that inhabit it; documenting facets of humanity in an apocalyptic photography simulator. ThorHighHeels soundtracks your plight of content creation at the end of the world with an eclectic collection of hip hop beats, urban breaks, cold synths, and chill urban vibes.

This limited, hand-numbered release collects 48 tracks from the base game and Macro expansion on colored double vinyl, with new artwork on a gatefold jacket by developer Veselekov along with exclusive developer and composer notes. All tracks were selected by composer ThorHighHeels himself for this release, representing 4 different themes across 4 distinct sides. The inner sleeves depict artwork by YRN, inspired by Māori culture and the game’s themes.
